About the RoleOur client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Operations Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a vital role in supporting the operations of a fee-only financial services business. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment operations and a strong understanding of back-office processes, with an ability to work collaboratively to ensure the team operates smoothly and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day investment operations, including account setup, maintenance, and reconciliation.Process client transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.Collaborate with advisors and other team members to address operational needs and ensure timely execution of tasks.Support the preparation and processing of account paperwork and client onboarding.Assist with fee billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.Maintain and update the CRM system with relevant client and account information.Work to enhance operational efficiencies and improve existing workflows.QualificationsPrior experience in investment operations or a similar role.Series 7 license is preferred or willingness to obtain it within a defined timeframe.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary: $70,000 - $85,000Bonus opportunity: $5,000 - $10,000Comprehensive benefits package
