Follow-Up Representative at R1 RCM in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description The Follow-Up Representative, Patient Financial Services (PFS) will be responsible for collecting and posting payments for patient accounts. Receives and posts payments to proper accounts. Responsibilities: Investigates and resolves denials with the objectives of reducing the number of denials in the future. Identifying, resolving, and analyzing any and all outstanding issues preventing claim resolution. Collaborate with insurance companies to determine why claims are denied through corrected claim submissions, denial disputes and appeal submissions. Maintains key performance indicators as defined by management discretion. Recommends accounts to be written off to appropriate categories if the provider did not meet certain payer guidelines, such as timely capture of charges. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Prior collections experience For this US-based position, the base pay range is $14.69 - $21.27 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
