Certification Details BLS Job Details Responsible for providing Hospice bereavement services such as emotional and bereavement assessments, counseling, resource identification and facilitation to Hospice families during the 13-month bereavement period. Serves as a lead/resource for department staff and a subject matter expert, which includes monitoring and training staff and ensuring regulatory requirements are being met. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in social services, counseling or psychology related area required. Master's degree preferred. Two (2) years experience in grief or loss counseling required. Recent experience in hospice preferred. Additional experience in a medical setting preferred.
