Operate the vehicle safely and ensure the safety of LARC individuals and safe working of the vehicle. Promote and support the agency's vision of "Community for All", as well as LARC mission and guiding principles.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.nnMaintain good attendance and punctuality.nnFollow rules of the roadnnProvide a safe environment for individuals.nnMaintain a clean driving record, reporting work or personal infraction to supervisor within 24 hours.nnFollow policy and procedures regarding picking up and dropping off individuals.nnAssist individuals on and off the vehicle following individual's guidelines.nnFollow policy and procedures regarding accidents.nnReport all accidents to the and Staff Scheduler/Driver Trainer and the Vocational Department DirectornnInspect vehicle prior to use. Report any problems to Staff Scheduler/Driver Trainer within 24 hours.nnMaintain mileage and gas records.nnAct as an active member of appropriate team(s) as necessary.nnQUALIFICATIONSnnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
