You will work 1:1, or in very small groups, with the people we support, forming long-term relationships and helping them to live an enriched life!nnLARC offers a competitive benefits package including:nnmedical, dental, vision, 401K, and more,nnPaid sick time, earned leave andnnnine paid holidays through-out the year.nnThe LPN will deliver care to person(s) with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a home environment and be an important member of the team working and developing relationships with person(s) served, their family members, guardians, and support team.nnRequirements and ResponsibilitiesnnResponsibilities will include but not limited to:nnProviding exceptional nursing care and oversight by implementing health care plans including charting vital signs and administering medications as prescribed and directed by primary/specialty physician.nnAssist with daily maintenance, personal care, and other services of support as outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) while maintaining individual records and files.nnDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain a respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationship with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.nnCapacity to assist individuals with physical disabilities and/or limited mobility.nnPosition Requirements:nnMust possess a current, active license to practice as an LPN in Connecticut.nnMust possess a current and valid CT Motor Vehicle Operator's License.nnMust provide documentation of the eligibility to work in the United States.nnMust obtain and maintain CPR & First Aid certification (training provided).nnWe would prefer someone with experience in, and a working knowledge of, State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services nursing policies and procedures.
