Job Description:
Our client, one of the world's largest engineering companies, is looking for a Sustainability Consultant/Specialist. In this role, the specialist will collaborate with project and proposal teams to integrate sustainability standards and best practices. The client supports a range of infrastructure projects, responding to increasing client demands for achieving sustainability objectives.
Main Tasks:
- Mobilize/Monitor design teams to meet and document Envision thresholds for technical criteria.
- Produce the post-design Envision Audit file (Planning and monitoring, analyzing project documents, producing specific documents, mobilizing and monitoring disciplines to produce the missing documentation).
- Analyze and produce arguments/calculations on sustainable development solutions.
- Contribute to the development of the detailed plan to achieve Envision certification.
- Contribute to updating the project's Envision assessment (level achieved/level targeted).
- Contribute to project management reporting on the progress of sustainable development objectives and the achievement of the Envision objective.
- Analyze and review (status) of DD/Envision documents issued on site by contractors.
- Filing DD/Envision documents issued on site and planning the Envision file for the post-construction audit.
- Contribute to the production of awareness documents.
Specialization:
- Professional in architecture, engineering (e.g., Civil Engineering), environment, or a related field.
- Hold, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in construction projects and/or environmental project certification (e.g., LEED, Envision Tm).
Experience/Asset:
- Experience in construction project monitoring.
- Hold the title of Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
- Competence in certain technical sustainable development themes (e.g., embodied carbon of materials, energy savings, stormwater management
