A reputable, 100-year-old outpatient practice with seven locations throughout the Greater Rochester area is seeking a qualified Mammographer. The practice offers a full range of advanced imaging services including digital mammography, ultrasound, 3T MRI, and the latest AI and risk assessment software—the first in the region. They also provide interventional breast procedures such as stereotactic biopsy with 3D capability.
Position Overview
Seeking a dedicated Radiologist, fellowship-trained (preferred) in Breast Imaging, to join their team. This flexible opportunity allows for 80-100% focus on Mammography, with full-time or part-time options available. (Remote opportunities may also be considered.)
Key Responsibilities : Perform advanced mammographic imaging and diagnostic services. Interpret digital mammograms, ultrasounds, and breast MRIs. Conduct breast interventional procedures including stereotactic biopsies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered care environment. Stay updated on the latest imaging technologies and procedures.
Benefits and Compensation: Competitive salary starting at $375k (commensurate with experience and training). No evenings, weekend, or weekday call. 4 weeks on/1 week off schedule after the first year. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. Job Requirements : Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Radiology. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred. Valid NYS medical license and DEA license.
