Job Description
Job Title: RN Intensive Care Unit
Job Location: Novi, MI
Job Duration: 3 Months+ contract - potential for extension or conversion based on need and performance.
Shift timings: Day and Night both shift available
Schedule Notes:
  • Every other weekend and holiday required; 48-hour schedule available if requested.
  • Required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, current MI RN licensure, 2+ years Neuro ICU experience.
  • Preferred: Cerner experience, previous travel experience, previous level 2 trauma experience Ratio: 2:1

Job Summary:
  • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS

Required Skills:
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
