The Role:

The Material Handler will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

***This is a 2nd Shift position, working noon-8:30pm.

In this role you will:

• Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant.
• With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions.
• Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
• Put product away physically into location and in SAP.
• Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks.
• Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work as a team
• The roles defined are not meant to be a comprehensive list, we are seeking someone who can demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Astute attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
• Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
• Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
• Willingness/ability to work 2nd shift hours (noon- 8:30pm).

• Compensation in the $20-22/hr range with actual pay dependent on the candidate overall skills for the role.
