Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Engineering Test Technician to support engineering teams by completing work requests and performing testing, validation, and verification on various products and subsystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing surgical consoles, subsystems, and PCBs, using advanced electronic test equipment. You will work closely with engineers to identify and analyze technical issues, contributing to the overall success of product development.
Key Responsibilities: - Testing & Validation: Test surgical consoles, subsystems, and PCBs using tools such as logic analyzers, high-speed digital oscilloscopes, and other advanced electronic test equipment.
- Preliminary Validation & Verification: Perform preliminary validation and verification of products and subsystems, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Problem Identification & Analysis: Identify, define, and analyze problems with engineers, providing clear data to assist in troubleshooting and solution development.
- Task Execution: Take on unfamiliar tasks and contribute to problem-solving within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to complete work requests and assist in resolving technical challenges as they arise.
Required Qualifications: - Experience with electronic test equipment, including logic analyzers and high-speed digital oscilloscopes.
- Ability to perform preliminary validation and verification on products and subsystems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and quantify issues.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and handling unfamiliar tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with engineers and team members.
Preferred Qualifications: - Basic computer hardware/software skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
