Responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis for a specific business unit, division or product. Supports the business by providing financial reporting and analysis to aid business management and gives guidance and advice on accounting issues and the financial implications of business trends.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adequacy of controls, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliations.
- Manage the controlling needs with respect to risk within the firm by ensuring that adequate controls, risk reporting and analysis are in place.
- Review, vetting, drafting and processing of Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC)/ g uarantee language ?including Bid/Performance Bonds and Letters of Indemnity?, and Import & Export Documentary credits and collections
- Letter of credit processing include the issuance, advising/confirming, amendment, examination of documents, payments, SBLC automatic reductions auto - extend, fee/expense processing
- Billing of lading processing, unfunded risk participations, and preparation of general ledger batch files and general ledger reconciliations.
- Routine inquiries should be addressed and where possible resolved, in a timely manner.
