Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including pressure vessels, bearings, and structural components
• Create and manage complete CAD packages using SolidWorks, including detailed drawings, assembly instructions, and material specifications
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure designs meet precise specifications
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations using ANSYS to validate design performance and optimize for efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of designs into the production process
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing phase and assist in troubleshooting design-related issue

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, specifically with pressure vessels, bearings, and structural components.
• Registered P.Eng with EGBC preferred, EIT accepted.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and ANSYS for finite element analysis and simulations
• Strong understanding and experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proven track record of creating and managing complete CAD packages, ensuring all components are well-documented and easy to manufacture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams

Salary Range: $70-125k/year
