As Head of E-Commerce, you will be a key player in driving our digital/omnichannel growth and optimizing our online presence.


Position Summary


The Head of E-Commerce will lead the strategic development, execution, and continuous optimization of State and Liberty’s online business. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and building a data-driven roadmap to scale e-commerce operations effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


E-Commerce Strategy


  • Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to achieve revenue, profit, and growth targets.
  • Identify and implement new opportunities to grow the online customer base and enhance repeat purchase rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with overall business objectives.


Customer Experience


  • Own the end-to-end online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Implement UX/UI improvements and personalization initiatives to drive customer retention and conversion rates.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance website speed, navigation, and functionality.
  • Performance Marketing & Analytics
  • Assist in overseeing digital marketing efforts with our third party, including SEM, SEO, email campaigns, social media ads, and affiliate partnerships.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate e-commerce performance and optimize strategies.
  • Use customer cohort data to create targeted campaigns and better understand customer behaviors.


Merchandising & Inventory Management


  • Work with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product assortment, pricing, and promotions online.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.


Technology & Platform Management


  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the e-commerce platform.
  • Identify and implement tools to enhance e-commerce capabilities, such as A/B testing, CRM, and AI-powered personalization.


Team Leadership & Development


  • Build and manage a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Partner with marketing, retail, and operations teams to create an integrated omnichannel experience.


Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Shopify, and other e-commerce tools.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Passion for retail, fashion, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
