About the Role
As a 2nd Shift HR Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in managing day-to-day HR operations, focusing on employee relations, and recruitment, and supporting our supervisors with coaching and training. This position is vital in ensuring compliance with company policies, as well as Federal and State regulations, while fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
What You’ll Do
HR Operations:
- Manage daily activities in the HR department to ensure compliance with company policies and Federal, State, and local laws.
- Guide supervisors on performance management, corrective actions, and employee relations.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts for salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee issues, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances and complaints, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions on performance management, HR policies, and compliance topics.
- Mentor and coach supervisors and employees to support professional growth and development.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, including retention and compliance metrics.
- Administer programs such as NOCTI testing and ensure proper documentation of promotions and pay changes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to a culture of efficiency and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
- At least two (2) years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, or benefits.
- At least one (1) year of leadership experience, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Workday or other HCM systems preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Work Environment and Requirements
- This is an onsite role requiring flexibility to work 2nd shift hours.
- Moderate use of hands and extended periods of sitting while working at a computer.
- Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing required protective equipment in designated areas.
