Barrington James is proud to partner with an innovative and rapidly growing organization to recruit a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for their flagship site in Princeton, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with eight treatment rooms, contributing to groundbreaking oncology and radiopharmaceutical research.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in oncology clinical research and a strong background in academic or site network settings. This is a pivotal position for professionals looking to shape the future of oncology and urology treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee clinical trials with a primary focus on oncology and urology studies.
- Manage all aspects of patient recruitment, informed consent, and retention while ensuring patient safety and compliance with study protocols.
- Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and internal teams to maintain trial quality and compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, data entry, and reporting in line with GCP and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the key liaison between site staff and sponsors, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor patient progress and adverse events, escalating as necessary.
- Mentor junior staff, sharing expertise to maintain high standards in clinical research.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7–10 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) with significant oncology trial experience. Candidates with extensive oncology experience as research nurses will also be considered.
- Proven expertise in managing clinical trials at academic institutions, site networks, or leading cancer centers (e.g., Penn State Cancer Center, Rutgers Cancer Center).
- Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and urology clinical research is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GCP, IRBs, and FDA regulations.
- Skilled in using EDC systems and clinical trial management platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
Preferred Background:
- Professionals from academia or research institutes with experience in oncology-focused research.
- "Career CRCs" who demonstrate a passion for advancing clinical research and maintaining long-term involvement in the field.
- Urology experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
