Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility in Kissimmee, FL. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for a primary care setting in Kissimmee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience providing patient care, assisting physicians, and managing office tasks within a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients according to policy and procedures and prepare them for examinations.
• Record patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate patient care under the direction of physicians and adhere to company standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful care.
• Organize and sterilize exam and treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
• Practice standard infection control precautions.
• Screen patients via telephone and in-person for intake purposes without requiring clinical judgment.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Active BLS/BCLS Certification.

• Job Type: 13-week contract
• Shifts: Regular Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Range : $800-$900 Weekly

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
