Duration: 06 to 12 months contract

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the end-to-end process from source-to-contract for a given category, for appraising and improving sourcing activities by analysing internal spend and external opportunities, and for developing strong strategic relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

· Category strategies developed and approved for major categories.

· Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management.

· Analyses and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure, including using benchmarking.

· Savings achieved against savings targets for relevant category.

· Negotiate with suppliers and secure favourable contract terms.

Experience:

· This position will be involved in complex negotiations with multiple suppliers and in working with operational departments to identify savings opportunities while still ensuring that member entities receive goods and services that they require.

Skills:

· Negotiate contracts, identify savings opportunities, and develop relationships.

· Operational departments

· Contract Administrators

· Work together to identify savings / value opportunities.

· Manage activities and workload.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree.
