Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Global Regulatory Manager with experience in TSCA, SDS, hazard communication and regulatory compliance to join a fast growing, global chemical manufacturer based in IL. This Regulatory Manager will support the product stewardship programs, new product registration, compliance with TSCA on import/export clearance, ensure SDS system integrity and further promote product and raw materials safety and compliance. Responsibilities:
- Support R&D on new product registrations for NA region, collaborate with Global R&D and Product Stewardship teams on alignment and compliance of product and raw materials safety.
- Lead custom declaration, review TSCA to ensure compliance on raw materials and product through import and export process, collaborate with global team and legal to address customer declaration requests within agreed deadlines.
- Manage the SDS system, ensure compliance with EHS at NA and Global level, work closely with EHS manager to address potential issues concerning EHS and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage the FDA food contact product portfolio, lead FDA application on new product registration and compliance, support new product notification, FCN submission and ensure trade compliance and compliance with governmental regulations.
- Support regulatory affairs projects, and ensure all stakeholders are properly informed, trained on regulatory affairs and product stewardship.
- Develop process improvement and training programs for organization, lead training and education programs to further improve the overall compliance with product safety.
- Collaborate with legal on product and raw materials compliance, support necessary paperwork and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
- Recent years of experience as Product Stewardship Specialist, Product Safety Specialist, Regulatory Affair Specialist, Hazard Communication Specialist, Regulatory Specialist with solid knowledge in hazard communication, SDS systems management, etc.
- Excellent communication and people leading skill, strong attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple project deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
