Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer – ORAN Systems

Contract - up to $100 per hour (W2 or C2C)

12 month contract (Extensions likely)

Location: Plano, TX; Syracuse, NY; New Providence, NJ (You choose!)

Here's your chance to work with a global leader in advanced 5G technology, including private networks, cutting-edge ORAN systems, state-of-the-art antennas, and indoor 5G solutions. This contract role spans one year, with potential extensions or the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position.

Your Role:

• Develop and implement firmware and software for advanced wireless systems.
• Program in C and C++ with exposure to Python or Bash scripting .
• Work on Embedded Linux , including kernel development, RTOS, U-Boot, device tree configuration, and file system operations.
• Design and optimize systems for SoC platforms , FPGA integration , and embedded processors.
• Implement wireless communication standards like ORAN , 5G NR , LTE , eCPRI , and MQTT .

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Solid experience in firmware and embedded software design, particularly for wireless or radio systems.
• Expertise in object-oriented development and system-level programming.
• Familiarity with FPGA-based architectures and wireless protocol implementation is a plus.
