Engineering Project Specialist - Sunnyvale, CA

Job Description:

Meta is seeking an Engineering Project Specialist to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA! The EPS will help coordinate and administer Electrical, and Mechanical engineering project activities. This role requires experience in the following areas - purchasing engineering related materials, budget maintenance, working with/making part numbers, and prior experience within electrical and mechanical engineering, or consumer hardware teams. The ideal candidate will know what a build plan is, has worked with hardware build and materials (not just oversee or supervised). This individual will work with awesome hardware alongside a great, supportive team, and training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establishes and assembles project teams, and coordinates activities
• Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis
• Manages milestones throughout the project to ensure the best customer experience

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Engineering Project Specialist or similar roles within Hardware, Mechanical, Electrical teams
• Experience helping to develop and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and Build Matrix by working with Engineering, TPMs and PLM team to complete design releases and CTB (Clear-To-Build) tracking.
• Strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills across time-zones and management of shifting priorities.
• Microsoft Excel skills -- creating spreadsheets and report gathering
