We are currently seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support one of our largest clients. The position would be hybrid with onsite requirements one - two days a week at their office in Alexandria, VA with telework options available on the remaining days.
As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Meet weekly with client Director and Deputy Director to discuss current priorities and tasks
  • Exercise discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Manage calendars including responding to event invitations, responding to customers, and managing tasks over email
  • Schedule meetings (e.g., Outlook and Zoom invitations) and prepare/distribute meeting materials such as agendas or supporting documents for internal or external meetings
  • Use office software applications such as Outlook's e-mail and electronic calendar, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc. Scans documents in hard copy format into an appropriate electronic format (e.g., PDF or WORD) for transmission and work processing.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications between the client departments, other federal agencies, and the general public.
  • Support in making domestic and international travel arrangements. Prepare and track domestic and international travel requests, authorizations, and vouchers. Ensures compliance with Federal Travel Regulations and agency travel policy.
  • Establish, organize, and maintain paper and/or electronic files.
  • Receive, review, draft, and edit correspondence.
  • Collect and consolidate information for reporting to senior leadership.
  • Maintain files and documents in an organized system available on a shared drive.
  • Other tasks as assigned, including data analysis, reporting, briefing development, research, and project management
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Government Administration or related field, and 4-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated skill in:
    • Effective communication (oral and written)
    • Being attentive to detail
    • Developing positive, professional relationships
    • Report writing and document preparation
    • Using Microsoft Office Applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Problem solving; analysis; critical thinking
    • Balancing multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of federal government human capital and/or management practices
  • People and/or project management skills
  • Current security clearance

Pay Range: $80,000 - 100,000 commensurate with experience
