ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for support of Westwood's Client Service & Sales development efforts as it relates to the institutional wealth management team. Interact independently in a professional and timely manner with institutional clients, consultants, and other financial professionals. This includes timely completion of information requests and assistance with problem resolution independently. Supports the efforts of our senior sales and client service professionals via the independent creation of all materials for current and potential clients. All responsibilities are expected to be performance at a Senior Level with minimal instruction and supervision.
A DAY IN THE LIFE Institutional Relationship Support:
- Serve as point of contact for all designated client/consultant relationships in assisting the senior members of the team.
- Assist in management of client/consultant relationships by responding to all inquiries and handling all internal serving needs of clients/consultants/financial professionals.
- Create and prepare client/sales presentations, meeting materials, collateral, and ad hoc requests for information for advisor team.
- Responsibility for daily account administration, including but not limited to receipts, distributions, and general account maintenance.
Account Services Support:
- Resolve administrative matters and maintain client/consultant records.
- Manage client on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
- Complete and coordinate reporting requests and questionnaires, including but not limited to RFIs, DDQs, RFPs. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of responses, liaison with other departments for necessary input, management of timeline for providing responses, coordination of compliance review, and timely delivery of final response.
- Complete all daily/monthly/quarterly standard reporting requirements of clients/consultants.
- Responsible for account financial transaction processing and assistance with plan administration functions.
Advisor Team Support:
- Support Advisor team initiatives related to client retention, new business initiatives and service enhancement.
- Work in coordination with other departments to assist in the updating and creation of all materials for clients/consultants.
- Participate in various projects as needed to support the team.
- Understand the firm, our services, its various investment strategies and investment processes.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum Specific Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience in a client service organization; institutional, trust, or investment management experience preferred.
