Job Description
Requirements: This position requires an organized, detail-oriented and personable applicant who wants to work with a first class professional baseball organization in hosting 48 home games and a variety of special events. The candidate should be a hardworking, team-player who is seeking an opportunity for growth within the baseball industry. The Client Services Associate will be tasked with supporting the sales team with a focus on the corporate sales efforts of the President, VP/GM, Assistant General Manager and other business development staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Create proof of performance and proposal materials to support the sales process with renewals and new prospects.
  • Coordinate with clients and staff to ensure contract execution. This includes artwork collection, internal/external communication, and activation to be managed from signature to fulfillment.
  • Assist with the design & implementation of systems to help streamline our contract fulfillment.
  • Assist in managing client contracts, sponsorship inventory, and gameday itineraries
  • Work with seasonal Client Services staff and other departments to plan, execute, and document client partnerships throughout the season.
  • Maintain customer record database with updated information on all customers & prospects.
  • Assist in planning and execution of special events as directed
  • Work games and special events as scheduled
  • Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting the organization, group ticketing, and other sales opportunities as scheduled.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects, current clients, and general fans over the phone and at games. Assist customer service efforts (mailing invoices, tickets, etc) as needed.
  • Additional tasks pertaining to these or other organizational goals as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience and proficiency working with the MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Transferable work, intern, or volunteer experience, preferably in the sports industry
  • Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet overlapping deadlines
  • Good communications skills including in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus
