Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Hours: 11-7pm (hrs are flexible) Sign on bonus: $5k Location: West Ashley 1975 Magwood Drive Charleston ,SC 29414 As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for the integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. This responsibility includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. Responsibilities Complete scans effectively and efficiently: Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure Select the most appropriate, cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient’s abilities and condition Maintain the highest standards of patient care possible: Implement and maintain the MedQuest Best Customer Service Program Provide accurate explanations and instructions at a level the patient can understand Ensure the Center’s compliance with MedQuest Policy procedures, OSHA, local, state and Federal regulatory requirements: Follow radiation protection guidelines Participate in formal training and service programs Continuing Education: Cross-train for additional modalities within the center Complete and retain certification in MRI technology Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active Active state licensure, where applicable CPR Certification is required Prior Experience: 0 years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred Special Qualifications: IV skills required Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy Skill in operation of MRI equipment Customer service background and focus Company Message About MedQuest Associates Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
