About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to lead the development and execution of the hospital's strategic and operational plans. The CAO will provide strategic leadership and oversight, working closely with senior leaders to guarantee the efficient and effective delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care, and safe, high-quality access and outcomes. Key responsibilities include achieving the highest level of performance in operating units, developing strategic initiatives to expand and integrate services, and enhancing the quality, access, safety, and efficiency of patient services. The role also involves leveraging technology and data to measure results, managing the hospital's financial planning and budgeting processes, and fostering relationships with community partners and physician members.Applicants for the CAO position at the company should hold a Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related discipline, and have a minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience, with at least five years in executive leadership within a community hospital. The role requires a proven track record in hospital and service line operations, experience in a matrixed organizational structure, and a strong background in managing physician relationships. Essential skills include a strong business sense, knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry trends, and the ability to make complex decisions in a competitive marketplace.
