About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to join its executive board. The CAO will be a key partner to the Dean of the medical school and the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, with a primary focus on the strategic and operational performance of the institution. This role is pivotal in the development and execution of strategic and operating plans, with a strong emphasis on achieving financial, quality, and growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships with external partners, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and leading the organization in a manner that is in line with the values of the medical school. The CAO will also be instrumental in designing and executing the organization's strategic growth plan, and will be expected to have a proven track record in healthcare administration, including experience in operations, financial management, marketing, and strategic planning.Applicants for the CAO position at the company should hold a Master's degree and have at least 10 years of leadership experience, with a background in health care administration. The role requires a candidate with a strong ability to manage multiple initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization, and a proven track record of success in a similar capacity. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of health care administration, experience in an academic medical environment, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrix management setting.
