Role Description
The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and other professionals, and maintain detailed progress reports.
Requirements: - State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required for Clinical Fellows
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Must meet all local and state educational and clinical requirements
- Experience working with a school-based population is a plus
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Provide therapy services in individual or group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
