Job Description

We are working with a life insurance and annuity brokerage general agency, wholly owned by a market leader of the life settlement business. This holding company invests in insurance-based assets and recently acquired this life insurance brokerage general agency.

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Brokerage Director to lead and expand their life insurance brokerage business. The Brokerage Director will leverage their expertise to identify and foster long-term relationships with clients and financial intermediaries and contribute to the agency's overall growth and success.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard high-performing agents and staff to build a strong, dynamic team.

• Foster professional growth through ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.

• Set clear performance expectations, sales goals, and accountability measures for team members.

• Cultivate a collaborative and results-driven work environment that aligns with the organization’s values and goals.

• Engage directly with prospects to maximize results from direct-to-consumer advertising initiatives.

• Identify, qualify, and close new leads, ensuring a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities.

• Work with agents specializing in life settlements to drive life insurance and annuity sales through our platform.

• Develop and execute strategies to expand the brokerage's market presence and client base.

• Collaborate with leadership to align team objectives with the overall business goals.

• Utilize data and analytics to refine sales approaches and optimize team effectiveness.

• Guide the team in identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value sales opportunities.

• Provide hands-on support in complex sales situations, including client meetings and negotiations.


Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and advisors.

• Competitive and energetic personality with a strong drive to achieve results.

• Bachelor’s degree and life insurance certifications required

• 10+ years of experience in sales within financial services and/or insurance.
