About the role:

We are partnering with a leading global Property & Casualty Insurance provider , recognized for its innovative approach and rapid growth in the insurance industry. With a focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions to businesses across diverse sectors, our client is looking for a Senior Professional Liability Underwriter to join their dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity to manage and grow a key portfolio, including Professional Liability lines such as Errors & Omissions , Cyber Liability , and coverage for Lawyers & Accountants .

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of both new business acquisition and renewal management within the National Account Professional Liability Portfolio , including specialized lines like Miscellaneous E&O, Cyber Liability, and Professional Liability for legal and accounting firms.
• Underwrite, rate, and service submissions while collaborating with brokers and clients to tailor coverage to their needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and brokers , particularly in the Midwest region.
• Work closely with brokers to negotiate terms and pricing within your delegated authority, aligning with underwriting standards to meet profit and growth targets.
• Develop expertise in the full range of our client’s offerings, identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products when appropriate.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-6 years of experience in Professional Liability and Cyber Underwriting , with a proven ability to manage complex accounts and relationships.
• Strong connections with retail brokers in the Midwest region and an ability to drive business growth through strategic partnerships.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy in underwriting and documentation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player who can also work independently, with a professional demeanor in both written and verbal communications .
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook , Excel , Word , and similar applications.
