Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at Mayfair Optometric Clinic in Victoria, BC. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and identifying eye health issues. They will also provide expert advice on eye care and treatment options.

We are also looking for a locum to fill a 5 week period January through February 2025

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Licensure to practice optometry in the province of British Columbia
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively and compassionately with patients of all ages
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and tools
• Knowledge of current optometric procedures and practices
