We are looking for an experienced guest relations professional at the mid point of their career with high ambitions.
As leader of the Guest Relations department, the Maî tre d’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting & seating the guests upon arrival
- Working closely with the host staff, restaurant & bar managers, and supporting the service staff when needed.
- Development of reservations and host team
- Managing and coaching guest relations team and front door function (Resy, phones etc)
- Overseeing reservations, pre-fixe menus
Overseeing and coordinating special guests (VIPs, etc)
Coordinating and managing communication between guests and staff
Developing initiatives to build guest counts
Must have at least 2 years experience working as a Maître d' at high profile and high volume NYC restaurant.
