Position: Full Stack Developer

Location: Itasca, IL 60143 onsite -

Salary $135K -$165K - must be PHP / Lamp Stack development background

I am looking for a Full Stack Developer (PHP and JavaScript) to join a creative team, that develops and deploys software. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in PHP, Lamp stack, SQL, SSAS, come from a manufacturing environment. You will be onsite daily joining a team that is collaborative and creating from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Build dynamic web apps and pages using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
• Rapidly solve problems, bugs, and compatibility issues
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as necessary.
• Follow internal procedure and coding standards.
• Build various custom web applications and back-end website components.
• Introduce the latest technologies and influence code development methodologies.
• Collaborate in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Investigate, analyze, and implement code development improvements.
• Bring innovative ideas and solve complex technological problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in computer science or relevant work experience
• Self-motivated and organized with excellent visual and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to meet required deadlines.
• LAMP stack development (5+ years of relevant experience)
• Experience developing in a web framework (Laravel)
• Experience with PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Nginx
• Experience in Linux system administration (CentOS 6.x).
• Thorough understanding of relational databases and security relating to PHP/MySQL.
• Familiar with responsive design
• Experience writing unit tests / detailing testing procedures for your work.
• Git Administration
• Mobile Application Development is a plus.
