Position Overview: A leading agricultural company in Hawaii seeks a Food Safety Manager to oversee and manage food safety protocols at a fresh citrus packing facility and field operations. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a key leader in food safety operations, the Food Safety Manager will play an essential role in safeguarding product integrity and fostering a culture of compliance and excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety programs and procedures (HACCP, GMP, FSMA).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify risks and ensure compliance.
- Train staff on food safety regulations, best practices, and company policies.
- Oversee maintenance and sanitation protocols for the facility and field operations.
- Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of food safety.
- Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and food safety standards.

Qualifications:
