Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Boyertown, PA 19512

Hours: Monday-Friday 8/9am-2:30/3:30pm (30 minute unpaid break)

Type: Ongoing Contract (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available)

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with personal care needs, including toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Support students with mobility challenges, including transferring from wheelchairs to other seating.
• Monitor and assist with students' daily activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide academic support under the guidance of teachers, helping students with classwork and assignments.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and support positive behavior development.
• Assist students with feeding during meal times.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for students.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and needs.
• Help students participate in school activities and social interactions.
• Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt tasks to meet students' specific needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA Criminal History Clearance/FBI Clearance (within one year)
• CPR/First Aide Certification
• Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification (ACT24)
• Proof of ACT 126 Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Training
• Tuberculosis Test completed (less than 3 months old)
• 10-panel Drug Test
