We have partnered with a full-service engineering firm in Texas that provides clients with design, consultation, and planning. The company has had a footprint in the community for the past 25 years. They have been ranked as a top firm by Engineering News-Records and Top Workplace.

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer who has experience in project management, cost estimations, design, and construction of high voltage power systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling, quality control, safety, and construction of capital projects
2. Identifying skill requirements, establishing scale of effort, and adapting the best practices to reflect the company
3. Tracking of project cost and schedule to establish milestones
4. Maintain current information on project status in all relevant databases
5. Conduct and prepare management review meetings
6. Manage portfolio of capital projects and teams. This includes coordination of all project resources (internal and external)
7. Travel out of town to different project sites and assignments
8. Other

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
2. 5+ years of experience in design, construction, transmission lines
3. Previous experience with engineering and construction projects
4. 4+ years of managerial experience
5. PMP registration
6. Previous experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office
8. Strong communication skills and analytical skills
9. Strong problem solving skills
