The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of practice experience. We are seeking a candidate who has first-chaired at least 5 jury trials to verdict. The candidate must be proficient in the practice area of personal injury with ample experience handling motor vehicle accidents and slip/trip and fall incidents.

This candidate should also have experience with professional malpractice (medical and legal), and have a firm grasp of medical terminology and the sequela that follow an alleged incident.

Responsibilities

• Detailed research centered around both established personal injury principles regarding causation and novel principles that require developed critical legal thinking
• Proficiency with Law and Motions practice (i.e., Motions in Limine and all varieties of evidentiary motions)
• Highly proficient at taking and defending expert depositions
• Highly adaptive in stressful scenarios but regimented in the overall trial approach
• An expert in maintaining clear and consistent communication with staff, clients, and opposing counsel -- whether through email or stand alone correspondence
• Consistent collaboration with internal legal team with weekly contributions from the managing partner

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active State Bar membership in good standing
• 7+ years' as Trial Counsel
• Personal Injury Experience Required
