Customer Service Representative
Shift/Hours: First Shift
Location: Decatur, GA
Pay Range: $17-19/hr
PrideStaff is working with an established client in the Decatur/Avondale Estates area that is looking for a Customer Service Rep to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire position with a company that offers benefits and a great culture!
Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email
• Work with clients and distributors to resolve shipping errors and order discrepancies
• Maintain detailed and current knowledge of products, services, and policies
• Process credit memos, returns, and replacement orders in a timely manner
• Follow up with customers with past due returns
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken
• Follow up with customers to ensure customer retention
• Communicate with production and sales regarding any product issues
• Follow up and communicate with shipping regarding picking errors
• Update address changes in the shipping database
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, send out replacements, and schedule pick-ups for damaged equipment
• Submit and update purchase order requests and shortages
• Track all customer shipments upon request
• Check status of pending or delayed shipments daily
• Contact carriers regarding damaged, lost, missing shipment and reroutes
• Submit carrier damage claims
• Act as backup receptionist as necessary
• Work assigned tradeshows as required

Sales Growth Potential:

• Process and schedule orders for larger accounts in conjunction with sales team members
• Provide back up to the sales team by taking incoming orders
• Travel to tradeshows to assist on sales floor

Requirements:

• Detail oriented with exceptional follow-thru
• Pleasant and clear phone voice
• Enjoys people and customer oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly driven and self-motivated to continuously improve and deliver excellent customer service
• Previous customer service experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with MS Dynamics GP is a major plus
