Your Mission:
- Hunt and conquer new business leads through creative outreach strategies, networking events, and digital channels
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, HR leaders, and key decision-makers
- Identify and analyze client needs, tailoring solutions that showcase our expertise in office services, accounting / finance, light industrial, skilled trades, and professional / executive search
- Collaborate with our recruitment rockstars to deliver exceptional talent experiences
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets to fuel revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and addressing concerns
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high client retention rates
- Foster strategic partnerships through regular quarterly visits with key clients
- Leverage proprietary databases, CRM tools, and industry insights to target and engage decision-makers
- Represent the company at industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and promote business interests
Your Superpowers:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development – ideally in B2B
- Local candidates preferred: must be based in or near Ottawa, with flexibility to meet clients in-person as required
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs
- Creative problem-solver, always seeking innovative solutions
- Tenacious, resilient, and results-driven mindset
- Strong industry knowledge and market insights considered a strong asset
- Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to client sites (mileage reimbursement provided)

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Flexibility required:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to ensure deadlines are met and deliver results
- Flexibility to respond to client inquiries and calls outside of standard working hours, as needed
- Occasional evening or weekend attendance at networking events, conferences, or other business functions outside regular business hours
