Our client, a leading supplier in custom aluminium extrusions, is seeking a highly motivated Plant Manager to join their production team in British Columbia, Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multiple departments, including extrusion, packaging, anodising, and fabrication, while driving continuous improvement in a highly automated environment.

As part of the team responsible for implementing strategic actions, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational success and supporting the company’s vision for excellence. This hands-on position requires resilience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the production floor to identify and resolve issues while seizing opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production operations across extrusion, packaging, anodising, and fabrication departments.
• Lead a team of five direct reports to meet operational goals and deliver results.
• Optimise processes and workflows in a highly automated facility, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to maximise equipment performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork, ensuring a positive work environment.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Extensive hands-on expertise in aluminium extrusion and press operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Proven leadership in managing and mentoring teams.
• Proven experience leading teams across diverse departments, such as packaging, anodising, and fabrication.
• Experience with automated material handling systems

Location:

This role is based at our client’s state-of-the-art facility in British Columbia, Canada.

Remuneration:

The package includes a base salary of $130,000 – $160,000 CAD, plus a competitive benefits package.
