Hybrid - 2 days from home, 3 days in office on-site.


The Associate Product Manager works in conjunction with the Product Manager to introduce new categories, expand existing ones and manage the life-cycle of numerous products. Additionally, the Associate Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to align global supply chain operations with brand and marketing strategies.


Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis

  • Determine the gaps in product offering through market research and by attending national and international industry trade shows.
  • Monitor competitor products and pricing strategies to ensure market positioning.
  • Evaluate data and build a report to determine the feasibility of any given project.

Product Management

  • Collaborate with our internal and external partners to source potential new product lines.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee sample reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure product standards.
  • Assist in managing the life cycle of all products and maintaining up-to-date information.

Global Vendor Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment on production schedules, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Address and resolve any production or supply chain challenges in a timely manner.

Marketing Strategy and Campaigns

  • Work with graphics team to design packaging, artwork and promotional documents.
  • Assist in preparing flyers, e-mail campaigns, presentations and product training resources.


Candidate may be required to carry out other responsibilities in order to meet changing business needs.


Qualifications:

  • University Business degree or certificate in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or combination of education and industry experience;
  • Bilingual (French and English*), spoken and written;
  • MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint (intermediate to advanced);
  • Very high level of organizational and time management skills;
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities;
  • Analytical thinker with a resourceful mind-set;
  • Thorough attention to detail with a tenacity for accuracy;
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
