Position Overview: Digital Marketing Specialist


Join the Edo Japan team! Edo is looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join the expanding Marketing and Digital team. The Digital Marketing Specialist creates and manages content and programs that supports all areas of Edo Japan’s business, including marketing and brand campaigns, digital campaigns/channels, e-commerce initiatives, strategic partnerships, franchising/real estate, public relations, and special projects. This role requires creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking to deliver content and programming that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with diverse audiences. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing traditional and digital marketing initiatives.


This is a permanent, hybrid, full-time position with benefits. The position will report to the Director of Brand Marketing and Communications and VP of Marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that support marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and digital channels, ensuring alignment with Edo Japan’s business objectives.
  • Create, manage, and optimize content for various platforms, including media, websites, email, social media, and e-commerce channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including agencies, to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Support the development of franchisee marketing materials and communications to drive franchisee success and consistency in brand messaging.
  • Oversee the creation of multimedia content, including video, graphics, and photography, to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage the brand’s social media strategy, creating and optimizing content, executing campaigns, and tracking performance to grow the brand’s online presence and engagement.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of marketing materials and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Support public relations initiatives, including press releases, media outreach, and crisis communication plans.
  • Stay current on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and competitor activities to inform and innovate marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis of campaigns and content, providing actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure digital strategies are aligned with broader company goals and deliver a seamless customer experience.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing , business, digital media, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3 -5+ years of proven experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, digital content creation, or a similar role, preferably in the quick-service restaurant or retail industry.
  • Experience managing partnerships with agencies , strategic partners, and external vendors, including overseeing performance and contracts.
  • Content strategy experience , with the ability to oversee content creation and ensure messaging aligns with business goals across the business. Proven experience in planning and executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns with measurable results
  • Excellent project management skills , capable of handling multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills , both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present strategies to stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying digital strategy improvements and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Growth mindset , adaptable to learning new tools, technologies, and trends in the marketing landscape.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to design and execute innovative marketing campaigns.
