Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Estimation: Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Budget Preparation: Develop detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-effective solutions and propose recommendations to enhance project value.
• Proposal Development: Create and present comprehensive estimates and tender submissions to clients and project stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure estimates align with project execution.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs for tracking and reporting purposes.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in interior systems.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore)
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and labor costs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

• A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Additional training or certification in estimating software or construction project management is an asset.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Gold Seal Certification in Estimating) are a strong advantage.
