Job Title: Estimator

Location: Calgary Alberta, Canada

Are you passionate about cost estimation, project coordination, and driving sales? Join our team as an Estimator and play a key role in delivering accurate project estimates, securing contracts, and ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project documents to prepare accurate cost and rebar estimates.
• Generate contract sales to meet or exceed budget goals through cold calls and follow-ups.
• Investigate and acquire tender documents for upcoming projects.
• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with clients.
• Track and follow up on project bids, maintaining accurate quotation records.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to manage contracts and drafting office files, including revisions.
• Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities.
• Source and gather pricing for special-order materials.
• Work closely with Sales, Production, Installation, and Safety teams to ensure all project scopes are clearly understood for estimation purposes.
• Review project scope, specifications, and addendums to ensure accurate material breakdowns and estimates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cost estimation, sales, or a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze technical documents and create accurate estimates.
• Experience in sourcing and procurement of specialized materials.
• Team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
