We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and support our direct client.

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and able to cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders.

In this role, you will collaborate across functions with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers from multiple teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud/Automation Engineering.
• At least 5 years of Unix/Linux administration experience.
• Hands on experience with automated build and system configuration tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Creating design documentation, consulting with engineers and architects, fulfilling network and server build requests, and installing and configuring software.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to design, build, manage, and operate cloud environments with a focus on automation.
• Experience with source code management tools (e.g., GIT, SVN).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., JSON, YAML, Boto3).
• Knowledge of enterprise software security design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a cloud environment.
• AWS certification or proven experience utilizing AWS services in a production environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen .

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other technology solutions such as IBM MQ, IBM MFT, IBM IIB, MuleSoft, Messaging brokers, File Transfer, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Connect:Direct, IBM Sterling Proxy, etc.
• Familiarity with the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and test automation within CI/CD is a plus.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices and API Management.
• Experience with both internally to the organization facing integrations as well as externally facing solutions.
