This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens. US Citizens will only be considered for this role.
Due to the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is required to be eligible for the position.
The Cyber System Assessments Group provides the U.S. Government with independent assessments of cyber systems and capabilities. This is accomplished through the research and development of unique, cutting-edge technical capabilities for understanding, testing, assessing and analyzing cyber technologies. In addition to the principal mission of planning, constructing, supporting and executing testing and evaluation activities of cyber capabilities, the Group also focuses on red-teaming to identify weaknesses in U.S. systems and characterization of adversary capabilities.
Administrative/Logistics Functions:
- Handle meeting/event logistics
- Access control and badging of visitors
- Manage events and clean up (food ordering)
-Meet with FMFS leadership weekly (check needed support for events/visitors etc)
-Building a FMFS operator handbook
-Support yearly strategy briefing for division
-Handle FMFS side of onboarding
-Manage culture of group and coordinate/schedule R&R activities 2x per year (summer/winter)
-Work independently to collect/gather material (HR-like) for the field site (posters, updated material for conferences, etc)
-Coordinate with HR 1-2x/year for recruiting events at the FMFS
-Coordinate co-hosting of CTNS conference
-Ordering office supplies
-POC for building alarm
-Coordinate with administrative assistants across the Division weekly for travel updates (maintain/update travel calendar)
This person will serve as a back up to the below Security Functions (*below functions are a sample of what would be required):
- Develop/maintain procedures for system-down events
- After hour alarm response
- Manage access controls and badge readers
- Coordinate with lab Security Operations Center (SOC) to support visiting staff badge access
- Manage the alarm (adding new users, deleting users etc)
Required Skills:
-The candidate should possess the ability to set priorities and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
-The candidate must possess effective written/oral communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently under minimal direction and to effectively monitor details.
-The candidate should possess a high level of professionalism in communication with management and external parties and an effective level of discretion in handling sensitive information as well as in escorting visitors.
-Associates degree (in lieu of a degree, equivalent experience required, minimum 3 years)
Preferred Skills:
-Excel Suite (Excel, PPT)
-Ability to learn new applications (example may include Confluence) and apply that learning to the job
Clearance: Ability to obtain interim top secret clearance for start of the assignment is required.
