About the Role:
A leading provider of advanced space situational awareness solutions is seeking a highly skilled Astrodynamics Engineer to join their growing department in the USA. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and refining their core algorithms and models and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of their space traffic management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced astrodynamics algorithms for orbit determination, prediction, and maneuver analysis.
- Conduct research and analysis on orbit propagation, perturbation models, and other relevant astrodynamics topics.
- Validate and improve the accuracy of existing orbit prediction models.
- Contribute to the development and testing of new space situational awareness technologies.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate astrodynamics algorithms into operational systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in astrodynamics and space situational awareness.
- Potentially contribute to the development of technical documentation and presentations.
Key Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, or a related field.
- Expert in Astrodynamics, with a proven track record working with this in a previous role.
- Strong proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C/C++).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Have worked for an early stage start up in the NewSpace industry
