IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Must be local to Atlanta area and work Hybrid schedule

Duration: 5+month contract to hire

Location: Atlanta, GA, (Smyrna area) 3 days a week onsite

Rate: $65- $70 hourly w2

Our industry-leading client is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager that will be responsible for leading and managing delivery of multiple diverse IT projects for Infrastructure, Network and integrated systems.

About the Role - In this role you will be responsible for managing diverse network projects involving deployments, transformations and modernizations including coordinating cross-functional teams, developing project plans, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for working across all IT groups including application development and security, as well as other business units to develop project plans, budgets, communications plan, and resource plans.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a technical environment with infrastructure and network related projects
• Excellent communication and presenting to customers, key stakeholders and project teams
• Cloud experience who has strong experience in both cloud deployments and modernizations
• Bachelors Degree required
• Experience ensuring delivery of projects are on time, within scope and budget
• Certifications (PMP, CSM, PSM)
• Local to Atlanta and able to work a hybrid work schedule (3 days a week)
• Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications
• Experience with Project management tools, MS Project, Jira, Rally, Smartsheet, or Confluence
• Self-starter, excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills
• Ability to clearly explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience coordinating and managing hardware, software and infrastructure testing activities required for risk mitigation prior to implementation
