Strategic Procurement Manager
Location: Frisco, Austin or Dallas TX
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to join our Finance team. The Strategic Procurement Manager will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, enhance supplier relationships, and drive operational efficiency. This position requires a professional with strong procurement expertise, a deep understanding of supplier management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to align procurement initiatives with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement Planning (20%)
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and market trends, ensuring cost efficiency and process improvements.
- Supplier Relationship Management (40%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and regularly review supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Sourcing and Vendor Selection (20%)
- Conduct market research, lead competitive bidding processes, and evaluate vendors to select the best-fit partners, optimizing costs and driving organizational value.
- Continuous Improvement (15%)
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization to improve procurement workflows and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication (5%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, ensuring clear communication and providing support to internal departments.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years of leadership experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM are a plus.
