Strategic Procurement Manager

Location: Frisco, Austin or Dallas TX

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to join our Finance team. The Strategic Procurement Manager will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, enhance supplier relationships, and drive operational efficiency. This position requires a professional with strong procurement expertise, a deep understanding of supplier management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to align procurement initiatives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Procurement Planning (20%)
• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and market trends, ensuring cost efficiency and process improvements.
• Supplier Relationship Management (40%)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and regularly review supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Sourcing and Vendor Selection (20%)
• Conduct market research, lead competitive bidding processes, and evaluate vendors to select the best-fit partners, optimizing costs and driving organizational value.
• Continuous Improvement (15%)
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization to improve procurement workflows and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Communication (5%)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, ensuring clear communication and providing support to internal departments.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 7-10 years of leadership experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM are a plus.
