We are looking for a WiFi tester and the person will be testing WiFi products.

In this role, the person will be at the forefront of testing and optimizing 4G, 5G, and Wi-Fi technologies.

Making sure the customer has good experience with the network.

The person will be developing test strategies, working on device defects, collaborate with OEMs, and engineering teams on innovative solutions also will be doing field testing

The person will play a critical part in our cutting-edge projects, including new feature rollouts and advanced debugging.

Defect Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect device logs and troubleshoot defects using tools like QXDM, XCAP, and XCAL.
• QXDM :- (qualcomm extensible diagnostic monitor)
• XCAP :- (Configuration Access Protocol, is a protocol used in telecommunications to manage and manipulate data stored in XML format)
• XCAL :- (xCal is an XML representation of the iCalendar standard.)
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to share findings and insights.

Collaboration and Debugging:

• Work with OEMs and internal engineering teams to resolve identified issues.
• Support new feature rollouts such as mmWave, 5G SA, and CBRS networks.
• mmWave :- (millimetre wave is a wireless communication technology that uses high-frequency electromagnetic waves in the range of 30 to 300 GHz)
• CBRS :- (Citizens Broadband Radio Service)

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in wireless technologies like 4G, 5G, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
• Hands-on experience with defect analysis on Android/iOS devices.
• Proficiency in using logging and debugging tools (QXDM, XCAP, XCAL).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
