Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a prominent manufacturer in the Springfield, MO area and they are in search of a Maintenance Manager to join their team!

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the efficient operation of our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all production and facility equipment.
• Manage and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs and servicing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with packaging and manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, including parts, tools, and labor costs.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations, including OSHA and FDA requirements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents.
• Lead training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a maintenance management role within the food and beverage manufacturing industry or similar.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment and manufacturing machinery is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience managing union employee's
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated packaging systems.
• Certification in maintenance-related fields (e.g., CMRP or similar).
• Proficiency in SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
